Commute Initiatives (previously known as Bike Commute Malaysia) is a grassroots organization consisting of commuter cyclists and urbanists who educate and advocate safer street designs for low carbon mobility across Malaysia.
We believe that the low carbon mobility options such as cycling and walking can address complex issues such as climate change, public health, the economy, and livability of a city.
What We Do
We work to create safer, more sustainable streets through a holistic approach that includes technical support street design guidance and policy advocacy, data collection and evaluation, community engagement, and coordination with government and stakeholders.

This workshop aims to gather input and support to advocate for enforceable 30km/h speed limits around schools. It will also be a platform for discussion, with a forum session and networking dinner for organisations working in the safer streets and sustainability space.
